THE BIKE THAT STARTED IT ALL
The original design of the Deka frameset, with its more minimalist appearance, this frame was designed to take on the bridleways of the West Pennine Moors. It was intended as a test bed for some of the features of the design, namely the elevated chainstay.
This chainstay design is essential for keeping the back end of the bike short, while allowing for wider tyre clearances. The outcome is a bike that climbs nimbly, but descends in a stable and confident manner with its 29er wheelset. The frame’s generous BB drop keeps the bike planted when riding off-road with or with bikepacking equipment attached.
